Micah Greenlay
Co-founder of New Ethics body suspension group, Micah Greenlay has been involved in the industry since 2003. Apart from body piercing, he has worked with Health Educators Inc. providing written procedurals and visuals aids. His group, New Ethics, has been featured in several magazines and can be seen preforming at many of the Tattooed Kingpin tattoo conventions.
For Micah, a driving goal has always been to eliminate the negative stigma and stereotypes that have tainted the tattoo and body piercing community for so long. His objective is to make sure that anyone who comes to Volcanic Heart, whether to get a piercing or just to ask questions, feels as if they deserve to be there.
"I remember years back, I hated going into a shop and being made to feel like I didn't belong because I didn't have a ton of metal in my face, or wasn't covered in tattoos. I think both Erika and I strive to make sure that none of our clients ever feel that way. I always take as much time as necessary to talk to my clients and make them feel comfortable. Education is important, and no one like to feel like they were rushed into getting something." -Micah
